1965 COMET CYLONE A/FX PROJECT
 

I have a 65 Comet Cyclone that I bought to build a Dyno Don A/FX clone. The car is a CA Black plate Cyclone that was a former ISCA Show car and I bought it from a guy who was going to build a NSS race car.The body is incredible-no rust ever. The car is mini-tubbed and has a 9 in.Ford rear end,roll bar,and fiberglass hood. The car is a roller in primer. It needs paint, an interior, and transmission.
Included is a 427 Ford FE Side-Oiler engine, standard bore, never sleeved,with MR heads,Ford Sidewinder intake, needing carb and distributor.Estimate 450-475 HP.The car is set up for an FE and the shock towers have been modified and motor mounts installed.
I had planned to convert it to a 4 speed, but never bought a transmission.
I have over $8K worth of trim,spares, custom headers, NOS glass, etc.etc.
Over $37 K invested;am asking $24K.
