Torque Wrench Questions / Recommendations

I'm in the market for a new Torque Wrench. I'd prefer not to burn a hole in the wallet but at the same time I want a good one. What do you guys recommend? When searching for a torque wrench what should I look for / stay away from? For my purposes I don’t think I need a Snap on, maybe a Craftsman? SK? or KD?

Also is there a book that will tell you what parts to torque at what specs?

Thanks,

-Dave
