No picures to post, but on the local news yesterday was a brief report of a lime green roadster that tried to eat a roadside tree. Thankfully, no injuries except for the car, and no mention of alcohol.

Andy,

I went to the show today, I couldn't walk long enough to see all the cars. What a great show.

If anyone is in the area, it is certainly worth the trip.

6 drivers arrested and thrown in jail for street racing.
With all of those cars, bound to be some stupid behavior.
Keep it on the track if you want to race!

I was not at the show. (See the thread on the Immke Classic). Several of our guys were there, maybe they will post pictures.

There are pics on the HAMB of the green Deuce that hit the tree. Post said the guy was doing a burnout, lost it, and nailed the tree. Car is 'glass and the whole left front and side is trash.

Sorry, folks. I did not check my facts first, there were 9 guys arrested for racing on I-71, and none of them had anything to do with the Goodguys crowd.

Was down at the Marriot Host Hotel Friday nite, almost got nailed driving in at the burnout area intersection. Was walking around checking cars out, looked up and saw huge burnout cloud, looked like funny car burnout, heard a loud snap crack, thought hmmm broken driveshaft, eveybody went running out towards the street, not good, firetruck, ambulances, police, couldn't get close to see what went on, then somebody told me a car hit a building. Later, when we left, I saw that he hit a tree. Don't know if anyone was hurt, especially the crowd that was watching all along the treelawn where the car went though, and there were alot of people in that area. Lets hope no one was hurt.C
