Keith, Elliot Motors became John Logan Chev in the early 70's. Logan is still at that location.
It was Logan in late 1973 when I traded in my COPO Chevelle there.

The COPO Chevelle I had (Canadian) came with a 5 year 50K mile warranty. It was transferrable to the second owner within 30 days of purchase for a fee of $25.00. Any warranty work had a $25.00...

Stefano, The book I have was published in August of 1989 and it says the COPOs were factory built. So that may have been another group.
