My First Gut reaction is it is a Bucket Seat...
My First Gut reaction is it is a Bucket Seat sliding Rail lever detent return, they were Yellow and appx this size.
Others might better ID.
but that is my First initial thoughts??

1968 Swap import Bushings for NORS GM parts

Mine No Motor,
One side at a time, Front end loose A partial Project car.
Loosening Fuel and brake lines clips/retainers.
Jack body at rocker to gain separation distance.

I think this was because VN/LOS was a early adopted GMAD General Motors Assembly Division that pushed management of the Body fab and Vehicle assembly under one umbrella and the needs of the X codes...
