The difference is 1" in total, so only 1/2" per side. If I were to cut down my 1970 12 bolt I would probably make it 2" narrower over all. Just cut off the factory bearings off the end and put a Ford...

This is a real shame. I've still got the 1970 12 bolt in my car. I do have a Nov. 1964 12 bolt to go in someday. I struggle with that choice, because some many of the period wheels don't fit the...

When I got my car, it had a 1970 Chevelle 10 bolt posi rear that I quickly snapped the pinion off of due to wheel hop. I located a 12 bolt form another 1970 Chevelle and that rear has been in ever...
