Iíve reskined a few hoods and prefer to use panel bond adhesive. Two part epoxy which does not expand. It is amazing how stiff the hoods turn out compared to the originals which have begun...

Looking really good, your doing a great job! Reminds me of a Camaro convertible I got from another shop. Previous shop drilled holes in a new complete trunk pan assembly, but did not clamp it down...

Bob's copo was raced by the owner and his wife. Had lead in the 1/4 panels for traction. I took this photo of the 1/4 window sticker while dismantling the car for restoration.

All of those holes around the shifter hole looks like the layout of the spotwelds for the factory shifter hole plate.

I think they have been reproduced for quite awhile now, at lease into the 90's. The original ones were very crude looking on the bottom side. Because of the time they spent closed with the springs...

They got the X code wrong as that Yenko is an X44. Trim tag never removed from actual Yenko.
