With this Z/28 only having 19,xxx original miles the car was mostly untouched. Most of the assembly line parts were still present at disassembly.

Not true. The 74 L82 had 202 screw in stud heads,O Rocker arms, steel crank, pink rods, forged pistons windage tray. Basically the same as a LT1 with a hydraulic cam cast intake and quadrajet carb....
