Hi Tim... I use an old Makita DA type polisher with a foam pad. This compound is very easy to use, even by hand it worked well around deck lid letters and other areas.

Car was equipped with the optional 3.08 rear gear, much nicer than the standard 2.56. It still has the original single exhaust, including the muffler.

Chris, I saw that too on the spring and custom bracket forward of it. The center carb throttle bracket looks strange too. I'm assuming this was part of deleting the factory vacuum linkage?

Bill, it was an option in '70, Code 524. The stripe stopped at the base of the rear window unlike '71 & '72. Here's a few photos of an original paint car with them.

Would anyone have the formula or a chart to decode older General tires? I believe the tires I have are from the mid to late 70's and was hoping to date them.
