That shifter is a mixture of Chevelle rods and levers and a Camaro - Nova Shift body.
The rods are 68-72 Chevelle and the levers are 69-72 because of the bolt on design of the levers for 69-up...

Thanks for responding. What I'm really trying to find out besides timeframe usage is if these were purple dyed, unlike the earlier machined style pcv's. Mine was definitely purple.
