The ZL1 Camaro was a sales disaster for Chevy. Not only was Gibb supposed to have an exclusive on the COPO, the initial option msrp was supposed to be about $2000. That would have put sticker price...

Makes sense. All of the returned Gibb cars went back to Norwood, 10 miles from Cincinnati. Would like to know if anyone remembers details.

3 non-Gibb ZL1s were sold new in OH but not near...

#25 is an orange automatic. The Degnan car was a 4-speed.

#34 is at Hausfeld Classics in Ohio. No price listed. Someone who would know told me it has been re-bodied.

Nope, never heard of them. But there were other dealers. Jon Mello sent me an ad from the May 17, 1969 Competition Press. It was for Fairway Chev-Buick in Reedsport OR. The ad was for both COPOs and...

Likely suspects are ex-Gibb cars re-distributed to dealers in PA. Heading the list would be the two cars Penske Chev ended up with. Not known if they were the selling dealer.
