Re: Dyeing seatbelts???

Kloneco
Well obviously I know what I'm talking about because I have had to clean up a squad after another fellow deputy who smoked got a new car and I got his. Believe me the windows had a dirty...

Re: Nice 70 SS396 Nova on Ebay

Ed,
I think you guys are referring to the maroon 69 L78 giveaway car. It is on the front cover of the October 1998 issue of Nova Times. The article on the car is on page 42 and it says the car was...

Re: Dyeing seatbelts???

Budnate,
I just want to give my 2 cents here. The original owner of my car smoked which stained the white tags on my seat belt. I took them to the dry cleaner here in town to see if she had an...

Re: Nice 70 SS396 Nova on Ebay

Richard,
It looks to me like he used a smaller brake booster and the master cylinder is not correct. That would make sense as to the brake system changes. Anybody else think the booster is...

Re: Nice 70 SS396 Nova on Ebay

Ed,
I'm going out on a limb here and I think bbdon knows more on that. The BB motor mounts move the engine further to the passenger side I believe to clear the power brake booster. I think you can...

Re: Nice 70 SS396 Nova on Ebay

Allen,
I think the first link is best for what we're talking about. Look at how much of your booster you can see. Do you have a photo like that from the front only further out. Try to line up the...

That is why I like to know more information on this kind of stuff. Somebody once told me that my car couldn't have come with the side post battery that early. There seems to be an exception...

Re: Nice 70 SS396 Nova on Ebay

I spent some time looking for another photo for you NNN members. Look at the September 1997 issue on the NNN giveaway car. Look at page 17. I know it is taken from a little different angle but...

I see between the first and second pictures you posted of Belk's car, somebody has pulled up to that stop sign. I bet they were saying "Those darn kids are at it again!" LOL

I tend to agree with you on the offset on the engine. I've been looking at photos of my engine from about the same angle from the front veiw. I can see all of my brake booster. In his...

Re: Cowl Induction Air Cleaner Question?

Mr70
I'm curious now about this. When I answered the question, I referred back to the Nova Times August 1998 article on the Shadow Gray NNN giveaway car. They show an original AC A212CW air filter...

I got my Nova's fuel lines from NNN. I thought they worked great and fit too. Mine was BB though. Here's their web site.

Re: Protectoplate codes

Matt,
According to my CBTN book, it shows DA rear code for a 3.08:1 rear. I couldn't find the DH for the Engine. The closest I saw was DR which is for a 307 with a power glide. Are your sure it...
