Default Re: 1970 LS6 eBay - Thoughts?

Nice to see it did come with the sold new in Calif.NA-9 Calif. emissions charcoal cannister.
I agree that he really should take better pictures,as his pics don't do that desireable color combo justice.

If you want to get technical, the AM/FM 8tk stereo wasn't really the most expensive option for the 1970 Chevelle.
It was actually 7th on the list as it cost $372.85,trumped by Air Conditioning at $376.00.
Next was RPO Z-25 SS 396 equipment which included the L-34 396(402)/350HP engine at $445.55,then RPO Z-15 SS 454 equipment which included the LS-5 454/360HP engine at $503.45.
But then you could add on to each of those, like the L-78 396(402)/375HP engine @ $210.65,but that needed to be added to the Z-25 SS equipment of $445.55 making it a $656.20 option.
And the LS-6 454/450HP engine was an extra $263.30,but you had to order the RPO Z-15 SS 454 equipment to get it,making the actual LS-6 option cost $766.75.
To top all those,L-89 Aluminum heads included on a L-78 396(402)/375HP block,(of which 18 buyers opted for),were $394.95 extra and had to be included with the Z-25 396 equipment too, making that the most expensive option of $840.50.
