"The car has a number of desirable power options, such as power steering and power windows. It is one of few 1967 427/435 hp cars delivered new with the Air-Injector smog system (K19), which is still intact – a sign that this car’s first resident must have been from California. It was delivered new with the aluminum bolt-on wheels (N89), and still retains all five of them. This dashing Corvette convertible is finished in its original color, Marlboro Maroon, and similarly the interior is upholstered in its original black. When a done nicely very high optioned 1967 427/435hp roadster is bringing $150k at a major auction (orv estimated to).

A bare Block is not worth $8k - standard bore/early date or not !

It just does not pencil out.

I MIGHT pay $8k for one . IF it was the original block from a car I owned , and it still retained it's factory stamping.

But that's about it - until (or if) the cars return to a higher value.

Actually , it blows my mind that their (the cars) only bringing this amount now!
