That's my thinking too...wish I had it.
Talked to the owner again today,he was surprised to hear it ran as quick as a 7.79 @ 191,he had only heard it went 179+.
The car had a full-cage in it so it could race in nostalgia competition and had some funky paint job on it,I also learned it had some slight body damage which was slight and could have happen loading it on the trailer.
Otherwise,car looks pretty much the way I remember it.
Dad built the custom front mag-driven timing cover and of course fabbed an offy mainfold to accept the 8:71 blower.
I am learning more about this car everyday and the good thing is dad is still with us to revel in it as well.
He has spoken to Ron Pelligrini (of Fiberglass Trends fame) and besides his "Super Bird" Skylark,this is the only known '67 Buick fliptop body to exist even though there were believed to be 3 made.
If you look at the pictures of his car,it sits way high and doesn't have nearly the stance this one did.
He is scanning all the pictures he has managed to collect from Coney Island Ralph and others and will send them to me...I'll post those when I receive them.
