Well then, it seems the only thing consistent about Chevrolet Division production procedures is the inconsistency in their production procedures; seems there is an exception to every "rule". Just like my 70 L78 Camaro block, the assembly info and suffix code are stamped on the right side of the pad but this placement was discontinued, according to Colvin, in 1965. What's a guy/gal supposed to do
