It was my understanding and reading of this event that it was only that the engines were to be made inoperable and that the rest of the car can go to the bone yard. I understand that some of the dealers are sending them straight to the crusher and that bone yard dealers are PO'd over this.
My $.02, they should have made this so that it was for purchase of a American made car. So much for stimulation of our economy!!!!
