Ken, it's ALWAYS our money! (Remember your high school American Government class?) A trillion dumped into Iraq, another half-trillion dumped into Afghanistan, a trillion (over 30 years) to send space shuttles up to fix orbiting telescopes (etc.), a trillion in tax cuts to people far richer than you and me, a trillion in tax loopholes for corporations (as well as trillions in corporate welfare of all types--see the Wall Street bail-out for starters, not to mention large insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies), and on and on it goes. We "vote the bums out" and still the trillions disappear every year. Funny though, nobody cared until this guy was elected and now suddenly there's all this outrage. So this new guy gives some "welfare" to the common folk through a WILDLY SUCCESSFUL "cash for clunkers" program and somehow it's this terrible waste of money. It was only three billion! No worries, we'll get that pretty Alaskan lady in 2012 and all this outrage will disappear overnight.
