If you read the article it says that the first guy (the guy who's suing) offered to buy the car from the second guy for 125 k so he could then sell it to Papa for 250 k ...Jeff Robinson chimes in, though, and says Sloane came to him and said the original owner would buy the car from him for $125,000, and says that she didn't mention the contest nor the full amount of the reward. .... Now I'm not a tax guy but I wonder where he (Sloane) would be after that deal, pay 125k for the car, win 250 k then pay the government taxes on the 250 k ....whats left over?
