Now you are going to make me go out and get a video camera and mount so I can show you some helo landings. A much different perspective I can assure you. We even land on runways once in awhile.
As far as seeing a lot of stars when flying at night, throw on some Night Vision Goggles and you will be blown away by the number you see with a little electronic amplification. First time users can't shut up about the number of stars and falling stars they see.
