Thanks for the comps folks. I got mine in the mail yesterday too.

The real reason they profiled the Elky is kind of a long story. I had my 68 up in NY for Hemmings Musclepalooza/summer show of 2008. I'd won an award there, and they approached me about doing a photo shoot of the Chevelle. That photo session didn't happen until summer 2009. They called me to let me know they would be in my area, to do the new Musclepalooza in Englishtown/Raceway park, and they wanted to do the Chevelle photo's.

Well, I told them that since they approached at the NY show, I'd finished the El Camino, and maybe they'd rather photograph it, since it was a fresh frame off. So they wound up photographing both cars, in a park near me.

So a few months ago they put the Chevelle in the magazine, and they also decided to do a restoration profile on the El Camino, since I had a lot of fresh restoration pictures. A couple weeks ago they called me to get the Elky restoration details. I talked to the writer for a couple hours. Not sure why, but he told me the article would be in the next issue.

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. No bribes, or free dinners, etc. I was in the right place at the right time, I guess.

Thats the last article for me. I'm out of cars.
