Re: Power potential ZL-1 block
Ok, so only ONE reply with regards to the question????????
So here's some info: block set-up I bought was in a "late-model modified dirt car". Thing ran 13.5-1 .100 over with 4" stroke crank, +.400 rods and Brodix BB 2+ heads with a very good size roller cam, injected. Thing HAD to be making ALL of 750 hp. The GM 4" stroke and 7/16 "dimple" rod with 13.5 - 1 TRW +.100 over piston deal ran for 7 seasons like that. So the overbore "seemed" OK. The Eagle stuff and JE piston set-up ran for 2 seasons and did end up breaking a roller lifter and subsequently a pushrod.
