It sure looked like that green '73 LT had factory painted om stripes to me. I bought the car from a woman in 1975 who had done nothing more than drive the car. The only thing that had been changed were the tires (car had 42K miles at two years old).
Either it was the "never say never" freak exception or there were more out there, I'm going to hunt for pics, but barring the tall rear spoiler the black stripes on that LT were absolutely identical to the green '70.5 Z I had in '71.
