1968 Firebird Convertible
My first project. It started out life as a 350 2-speed car, verdoro green. It was painted warwick blue when I bought it. I haven't been able to learn much about its history. Even PHS documents weren't that informative on this one. I decided to do some mechanical upgrades, but keep the rest looking pretty stock. Pontiac 455 block, new rotating assy from Butler, Edelbrock heads, RARE X pipe dual exhaust, TKO 600 transmission, Moser 12 bolt rear end, 4-wheel disk brakes. I have a new suspension parts (springs control arms, shocks) from SC&C to install and I hope get the stance right improve handling. Just waiting for a little free time to install.
