A friend of mine had a blue LS6 Chevelle.He put a crate LS7 in it with headers and 4.88s.The car ran 11.7s with a 10.50 slick.It was quite streetable but you knew it wasn't stock.Not many guys wanted a piece of that car.The same car is in a shop not to far from here and is being restored.
I had a 69 COPO Camaro that came with a LS7.Back then COPOs were not that sacred and lots of guys had them modded.It had headers and 5.38s.With L70 Ingelwoods it was a handful on the street.It spit out axles at the track with 10.50 slicks every 4 passes or so.
