Olds engine rebuild and parts are much more expensive than a Chevy. Do it right the first time.

I am torn as I don't want to spend money on parts not originally for the car, but as you mention, I would hate to "window" the W31 warranty block:-)
I am more focused on being able to drive it than Race it. One idea I have is to prepare the warranty engine and if I decide to go PSMCDR racing maybe build the extra engine and transmission to risk in future.
