It's actually a river valley and totally flat, the river runs down the left side of the track about 20-30 feet away.

The track was 1/4 mile until the early 80's. there isn't any where close to enough shut down room to be 1/4 mile. I've been coming to the track since the mid 80's and have seen everything from Funny Cars running high 3's on down... The track had a major rehab in the early 2000's with the entire surface being put in concrete with reinforced concrete walls the entire length too.
