I would bet the builder of the model would be very pleased to put it in the hands of the owner of the car. However, it may cost you. When I was building models MANY years ago people always wanted a replica of their car built. It was not hard to put 75-100 hours in a model with a ton of detail and that could get expensive. It would be really cool to have it however.
