Default What would you do with this tank sticker?

So my buddy dropped the tank in his car....its a 69 Roadster, it has a 6500 redline tach he says..(i didnt look)and has a 3.36 HD rear.and the console says 427 435 and has a small block in it now..was going to be a driver, has standard exhaust and no 427 hood he thought it was just neat convertible to play with... til we saw the tank sticker,,it came with a blown up big block...but he never checked it

so L71 on the sticker..and is an auto car...we havet seen the engine code yet..about 256 L71 auto converts where made..(i didnt even know the turbo was avil) so kinda rare...i think it needs to be restored if the block is the orig to the car.

L71 is visible on the sticker..but what do we do..it aint coming off..its crumbling and most is gone..its kinda weird the only thing you can see is the engine and trans code..theres no way to get the sticker off...its just disappearing as we speak..how do we preserve the integrity and pedigree of the car...its orig gold with black interior and white top..car has been sitting since 1982 and came with a blown up big block... tomorrow hes gonna see what the motor is..it wasnt a big deal til we found the sticker..lol
