Nice, THANK YOU for the update-I was wondering If its an original 406 block, it should be solid lifters, there's no provisions in the block for hydraulics. These Fords suffer a lot from "single carb depreciation"- R code 2x4bbl 425hp 427's easily bring many thousands more than Q code 1x4bbl 410hp 427's, and in the 406 world (which is a definite step below 427's since you have to explain to most people what this '62.5-'63.5 engine even is) G-code 405hp 3x2bbl cars easily out pull B code 385hp 1x4bbl cars. I know a similar thing happens in 409 circles, but I'm not sure its as pronounced.
