I guess I should start out with saying that I too am crazy about originality and truely support the correct, assembly line option list, finish and look. This can be supported by the last two cars I restored.
I have not had the opportunity to get the Camaro home just yet, and trust me, I want it here in my shop. It was a Canadian sold car therefor the GM doc's are available. I am told the car is an original 45,000 mile car that was restored back in the early nineties. As far as what was replaced interior wise, I am not sure yet at this point. I will post some more pics when she is home.
Having said that, I am just looking to satisfy a seat combination that I desire more, which happens to be the low back 70 style seat. If I do switch out the seats, rest assure that they will end up on the shelf, never to be seperated from the car. Maybe I can contact you Chuck to discuss some options and also contact SMS and see what they have to offer as well.
