I just measured mine, Keep in mind 12D (ie Dec 1967 LOS) Build.
68", + 3/4" on the trans end & 1/4" on the speedo end.

So the Casing is 68" end to end.
the cable inside is 69".

I can find NO markings what so ever on the case and ends, it is grimy, & caked and abraded scuffed to the inner white case under the black outer shell, I will be shopping for a replacement repop is acceptable for something like that in my mind.
