On the way home from the Camaro Nationals my brother and I stopped at a fellow NCRS member's shop and took a tour --- he has an 0- aluminum block from Jim Hall's shop which he picked up prior to 1969 as a badly beat up engine- I noticed that it has an external passage for dry sump or mains priority lubrication.
Block was hurt but mostly fixed, needed the lifter bores for 7 and 8 milled and bushed plus 7 and 8 dry liners installed.
The gentleman also has the CE ZL1 from the Lemans Blue Sport Chevrolet ZL1.
