Des, I looked into that on the pattern cars. The first 1000 were all identical with the second batch of 1000 having other options allowed to be ordered. Interesting article posted over on the PY forum from "Smoke Signals", the POCI magazine. They were also identified by the Dealer Order Number starting with "00" in which case, mine does not.
I didn't think my car was a Pattern car going into this and seems it was ordered directly around that time. It is eerily identical to one though!
Missing parts: Carb (of course
), Distributor, Alternator (correct 37A, but later year), a few Ram Air underhood parts. Shifter is there, Dan with the open "4"!
So the hunt will start for the couple missing parts. I'm going to start into this one immediately when I gets here right after the 52 Ford Truck is done!
Say....Anyone have a correct carb they want to sell me cheap!?
