I think 69 had the smaller Font stamped 9391 only like this one shows and the rod was always stamped an A8 like this one.
On 1970 units I have seen both the small or bigger stamped 9391 Font and the AO stamp on the rod for 1970 was more common but I have pulled off a few boosters from a 1970 Chevelle with an A8 rod.
My own 1970 Chevelle car has an A8 rod stamp but with a bigger font 9391 stamp on the booster tab which was an early car built out of Kansas Early November 1969.
