Wasn't there a White and Purple 66 Vette factory M22 big brake car still running around which was IIRC sold new at I believe Alan Green? I recall it being referred to as one of the 1966 L88's.

Also a reference to the Hipo 66 M22 cars in an article in late 65 or early 66 something regarding the different cam shaft and also stated gear drive.
