Default 1967 Camaro front disc brakes - Z/28 complete take off set up - 1968

Hi Friends,

I have available a complete take off front disc brake set up off of a very original car that apparently sat for years. I was also told it was a real Z, but I don't put any weight on that claim and neither should you IMO.

It is clear (to me) that they're likely very original parts and I do believe this set up is completely unmolested and likely never apart or even off the car until just before I found them. The system still has / had brake fluid in it and would squirt when I pushed in the pads (pistons) by hand while still assembled. I have not taken this set up apart and I am sure the spindle is still covered in grease and the pad pins are intact and all cotter pins likely took, but I didn't pop off the dust cap.

Amazingly, (for 1967 / 1968) both calipers 5455533 halves are dated 114 - this is the side that faces out as we all know. The 5455530 sides look to be dated 24 & 290, which I cannot explain really.

both dust shields 1381722 R & 1381723 L

both brackets 3913798 LH & 3913797 RH

Spindles present. Even the brake pads.

And the two piece original rotors look serviceable (to me).

Both steering arms 3902519 & 3902520 present - short arms / fast ratio.

Another nice DETAIL is there are 8 waffle pattern lug nuts included!! Along with the correct ASSEMBLY line "A" wheel studs as found on original 2-piece rotors. There were only eight nuts present, I added two newer ones just because.

The assemblies spin very easily and were very recently removed. For whatever reason. These appear to be off of a low mile car IMHO; based on the rotors and all of the context clues.

Even the original single crimp hoses are present and the line clips as shown (I would not use these lines of course!) - all of this is what leads me to believe this is a genuine original set up... One dust shield is dinked from a light drop and certainly repairable and not fatal.

THIS is how you want to find these kinds of parts. Not a cobbled together system.

Rust and pit free California parts here!

All as shown. Check the photos. I've included a lot to give the full picture.

1200.00 PPG plus shipping & insurance.

Thanks as always everyone,
Cheers.
