But another big day; today was VIN assignment day! In the eyes of the DMV, this is now a legal car with a state issued VIN based on the engine serial number. So dare I say, this is a numbers matching car!

It's not everyday you see a 507 on a uhaul!
Next up, a safety inspection along with title application. But before that I need to attach the VIN to the door jamb. Now I can get the data tags filled out too.
Woohoo!! It's now a real car. Inspection process was fun and created quite a stir with all the officers and others in line coming to check it out. Fun stuff!

Only you could pull this off AND have a pleasant experience with the DMV inspectors, usually it's a tug of war when ever I had to go there. Like the Visa commercial: Priceless! Bill
