Tachs were mounted either on column or as a knee knocker on the lower dash. My car still has the scar from the tach that was mounted to the column, and holes were never drilled for a dash mounted tach. My Yenko shop order does indicate installation of the Stewart Warner tach and gauges.
Stinger hood scoops were closed, but owners sometimes cut them open. They were advertised as “lightweight” and were structurally pretty weak. This resulted in warpage (like yours Richard) and cracking down the center. After a short time, some owners moved the hood pins toward the center of the radiator support for better hood support.
