Default 68 El Camino AC brackets.

Decided to put fit the A6 compressor on my 68 El Camino. If I decide to make it functional, will do it correctly.

Originally 307 PG car. Now 350 4L60E.

Two issues. I am missing one bracket. It is stamped steel and runs from the small bracket on the intake to a 3/8 threaded hole on the back of the compressor. See first pic.

I have a bunch of stamped steel brackets in my metal pile, but doubt I have one that will fit without modifying it. All my other brackets are correct, so would rather have an original.

Can anyone confirm that the one I need is the one I have pictured below (second pic)?

Secondly:
I am not sure that the exhaust manifolds I have are original to the car; but believe they are. They were in the bed with all the other spare parts when I bought it. I didn’t look at the casting numbers as it is not a “numbers” car. When I installed the compressor, I could not get the lower bracket mounted without using spacers, 3/4 in back and 5/16 in front. I don’t know that it matters, as the belt lines up just fine, and the compressor pivots fine for adjustment. I am guessing originally it did not have spacers. Can anyone confirm? Guessing that 68 Camaro V8 with air would be the same, at least for an auto trans car.

And yes, I know I have the "wrong" valve cover on it. Like I said, it isn't a "numbers" car, and this is what I had on hand.

There is a big block 68 in this thread. https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=180849

You can see the bracket installed, although I suspect it is slightly different on a BBC.
