I may have added this info in other thread/posts but unable to find, so I will add information to this original thread.

Norman L. originally purchased the car and only modification was adding power steering. He even knew it was the first year for variable ratio. The only warranty work performed was pressed in rocker studs pulling out. He stated this was a typical issue and under warranty the heads were replaced with 70 dated heads with screw in studs

Norman mentioned this was their primary car which his wife routinely drove and had gotten multiple excessive noise tickets due to the factory chambered exhaust. He had instructed his wife to disengage the clutch and idle past police cars, but tickets continued which facilitated installation of a transverse exhaust system. The car was sold in 73 or74 and wasn't sure but knew it was after the 3-year had warranty expired.

Larry D. from Harvard, MA purchased the car and had road racing in his blood. He joined a local racing club and would compete on club track days when the club rented the Loudon track in NH. Over the years Larry modified the car to be more competitive. He incorporated many modifications he had heard/read about the Trans Am teams had done. A local racer at the track was selling a dual piston four-wheel disc brake setup and springs and larger stabilizer bars which he purchased and installed. Next, he purchased a complete un-used cross ram induction system which he located in Lowell MA. I stated to Larry I can't believe the engine hadn't blow up, and he answered, "either can I, it is amazing". The car was sold in 1980 to a local fella who was in the process of moving to the Midwest and was loaded in a trailer and never heard of again.


The car somehow ended up in WI and was owned by a municipal court judge. A famous member Napa68 purchased the car in around 2000, and as he said, " I didn't know what I had and foolishly sold" in 2002 to Juan Rodriguez in Miami, FL. Juan sold it in 2002 to Eric L in PA. who owned it until I purchased in May 2023.
