Pete, I think it's great to see you running your cars to show what they were really built for in the first place. I can also see the argument that it would be too risky to run the original motor in such a car due to its value. I will have to make that decision with my crossram JL8 car next year. Should I build a backup motor to keep the original block safe and secure? I've got a lot invested so I may have to run another motor to protect my investment. But I will be driving the car when it's done.
