The problem with the deuces, like most stock cars, is in the 60' time. One theory we are kicking around is to change the Holley pump cam profile to one that is leaner / slower / smoother at lower RPM, this way it doesn't hit the tires so hard and make them spin. The 780 Holley is WAY too big for the LT1, we could go faster if we could decrease the venturi's and increase the velocity / efficiency. (or so our theory goes!)
We need someone to to dyno their LT1 with the 780, and then swap on a 600 or 650 Holley. Anyone?? Bueller, Bueller, BuPETEller!!
