Re: Canonsburg cruise
We had many conversations with people that worked there, including mechanics that did the engine changes on 68 Camaros and stories about the race car DX Corvettes and Donna Maes Stingers. Nobody questioned any of the cars on hand. This is a tough crowd in Canonsburg and the people know what they are looking at. On gentleman bought a 67 Z/28 from Yenko that was one of 3 that was at the dealership. His was a red one. He told us that it had been crushed after years of abuse. We also heard stoies about the cars that were raced at Pittsburgh International Dragway or PID. The gathering was small but was very interesting. Everyone had a great time. People are looking forward to having a bigger and better show next year. We will have to see if this will grow into something that people are interested in. Maybe a Super Car Registry show for all makes in the future? We will have to see what the Clary's have in mind.
