Boy that yellow one sure brings back some memories!!! Back in late '65, I remember driving from Tulsa to Wichita KS just to look at one of those chevelle's when they were new on the showroom floor. It looked like the yellow one in the pic. I'm sure that they sold quite a few yellow ones. I am still kicking myself for not buying a yellow one from a used car dealer in Tulsa back about '74 in Tulsa for $1400 (Back then that was just 2 much for a ex 396 car with a small block in it). Usually $800 would buy a nice '67 used one with a 360 hp motor. The big motor was gone but the rest of the car was still original. The top chrome trim on the rear deck was not on them was how you could spot one. A guy that I lived with had just taken delivery on a '65 Blue 350 hp 327 non SS car and in fact he still owns it today. He is over on the NCRS forum all the time. His name is Verle Randoph.
