Ahoy guys! Not sure if anyone here has been playing this yet but I finally broke down and bought this game.
Motor City Online is an online only racing/ car building/collecting community with some pretty fun online play. The game got down to the $20 range and the 1st month of access is free ($9.99/mo. after 1st month). I've been pretty much addicted to it for the last month and will actually be kicking out the monthly fee to continue playing...A pretty big stretch for me.. [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif[/img] The latest issue of Car Craft just did a 4 page spread outlining some of their playtime w/ the game (so I've been hunting for CC staffers to kick around on the tracks..heh). There's a great community online w/ helpful advice. Some of the tech is a bit off and the economy is a bit inflated but overall it's fairly reality based. You can actually use Motion Software's Dyno 2000 program to help tweak your combo and choose parts. If you're at all interested in gaming, this one's a winner in my book. Just bear in mind that for the time being it is an online only game. And, if anyone else on this board has been playing, lemme know your Nicknames in the game and I'll try to catch you at the track.
