Casey, my opinion would be that if it were an original 427 car, it is worth the $6K regardless of it's heritage. Frames can be purchased for a resonable amount and is a very easy swap. What the hell, you need another project anyway. Maybe you could use this engine in your Biscayne while you are putting a new frame under the Vette. Let us know what you decide.
