Re: Super Car Reunion 7
I have contacted Gateway Int. about that. The person in charge was out, but is to get with me next week. If available that weekend, then it will get down to how bad we want to race, as track rental, insurance and the jet dryer ran close to $5000.00. At SCR6, the majority of these added costs were covered by a very special "Friend of the Reunion", who we all owe a big round of thanks to.
Like you, I think anyone who was there had a good time. I am still amazed, and grateful, that 15+ supercars braved the elements to make a couple of passes. Makes me wonder how many would have participated if the weather had been better. Hopefully in 2004 we can get the track again and Mother Nature will be more cooperative. Would be unreal if we could get a even bigger percentage of the cars attending SCR to make a pass or two.
