Well....I have some bad news regarding the long awaited release of the Ertl/MIC 1/18 scale 70 LS6 convert, Briggs Chevrolet Drag Car. While checking online last night, I came across a a note on
www.LittleDetroitCollectibles.com that says: "WE WERE JUST TOLD FROM MIC THIS CAR WILL NOT BE PRODUCED." I emailed Little Detroit Collectibles and received an email saying it may have been canceled due to a license deal. Also emailed Mike at Truppi-Kling, and I'm awaiting their reply on this sad news.The only good news is, I see that Lane Collectibles is releasing a super detailed 1/18 scale LS6 Convertible Red w/ Black Stripes early in 2004. I guess we will have to wait and see if one of these cars can be modified, painted and decaled to look like the Briggs Chevelle. Sorry for the bad news. I am not the only one that has waited 6 months for this NOT to happen......(musclecarkid)
