They really do not need any beefing up. Larry Christenson, owner of 2002 ZL1 #57, has made over 50 passes down the 1/4 mile track running with ET slicks and running consistant mid 11's, with a best time of 11.35 at 128 mph . . . all with a stock clutch, pressure plate, transmission, drive shaft, rear end axles, rear end differential, and wheel studs. I guess the GM guys were right when they said we would be OK with all the stock stuff. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

BUT, if people want to drop the clutch at 5000 or 6000 RPM's, then they will probably brake something. Also, these cars have factory warranties on factory parts not modified by GMMG. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif[/img]
